It's a coincidence that Afghanistan became the
center of the world heroin trade after the US
and the UK invaded it, right?
There's big business in arms, oil and drugs. Very big business.
One of the "sectors" of the drug business that's been on an upward spiral ever since the beginning of the BushBama administration is heroin.
True to form, after the Obama part of the BushBama administration moved into the White House the growth has continued unabated.
By coincidence - and I'm sure it's a total coincidence - the center for the worldwide heroin production is Afghanistan.
Just a coincidence.
Like when Southeast Asia was the center of opium production during the Vietnam War.

What war on drugs?
Before the "War on Terror", there was a "War on Drugs."
Between police salaries and prison operations, the so-called
War on Drugs is one of the most lucrative industries in
the US today.
Maybe that's why the Pentagon, big banks, and major
pharmaceutical companies all seem to be involved in
making sure it never ends.
We already know that without major money center banks like Citibank and Wells Fago to launder the funds, there'd be no drug trade as we know it.
We also know that in Afghanistan, there are occasions were US troops are used to guard opium fields in order to curry favor with local warlords.
In this short video, we learn about the thriving business in providing pharmaceutical reagents to Afghanistan that make the opium-to-heroin conversion possible.
Based on this, it looks to me that if we were serious about diminishing the supply of cheap heroin in the world, it would only take a few phone calls:
- one to the Pentagon to stop protecting the crop...
- one to a handful of big banks to stop laundering the profits...and
- one to the handful of major pharmaceutical companies that make the heroin processing possible.
